We have a WIFI connection here at home courtesy of my husband’s niece. But, I guess we are not maximizing the access to wireless connection because we are still using LAN or local area network for home networking (using cat5e) to connect computers to router for internet connection. In any case, our laptop is WIFI-ready and the kids can use it to the next room and can access the internet even if not wired to the router.
