If you are stuck in a gloomy weather in your home it is the perfect time to bond with your family. Fun activities like games are not only enjoyable for you all but also will establish rapport between awkward members. Games like charades and other fun board games can be done lively if you add some twist in it or consequences. For the kids you can teach them to draw or paint so they can learn and at the same time enjoy your free time with them. You can also do baking and cooking delicious treats while everyone is helping. Singing and dancing in the tune of the karaoke or rickenbacker guitar is also a fun activity for the whole family.

Proud Mommy Moments
It was another emotional day for me. No, nothing bad happens on my end. I’m emotionally happy because my daughter got three awards during their Recognition Day. Her Dad and I are aware of the third honor award, but didn’t expect that she will be called for two more, for the Best in English and Best in Science awards. My daughter was wide-eyed when her name was called. All the late nights spent studying has paid off.
I tried to hold back my tears when I joined her to get her medals on stage. (I don’t want to make a scene of all places.) Now that I’m back with my online job reading some reference materials about testosterone booster, I still feel ecstatic about what happened this afternoon. I’m proud of my daughter for doing her best in school. I’m thankful to God for this blessing.
The year that was
A lot of good and not-so worthwhile things happened to my family this year.
In February, my kids were hospitalized for dengue fever. The only fund we have during that time was the 13th month pay that my husband received from his company. We were saving up that money to pay for the tuition fee when the problem happened.
But God is so good He never let anything bad to happen to my kids. While we were at the hospital, blessings came pouring in. Friends gave us some financial help to which I’m thankful for. I got a lot of assignments from a paid post company and direct earnings from an advertiser who paid a hefty sum for the ad links on my blogs. I’m most thankful for my dearest friend for the DA referral for without it we may not be able to pay some obligations and secure a part for the tuition.
Because of what happened to my kids, I realized that I need to get a health card for my family. Instead of paying cash, I can use the health card to pay for medical expenses. Now I’m thinking of securing a health card or avail cheap term life insurance next year. Like what elders always say, it pays to be ready all the time.
