Take a walk (and lose weight)

I had difficulty moving about lately. I feel shortness of breath even when I’m taking a bath. Isn’t it alarming?

Last week, I’ve made a promise to myself that I’ll take time to walk even for 30 minutes or less as a form of exercise. I haven’t started yet because I woke up late. It will be too exhausting for me to walk when the sun is already up. The best time to start walking is around 5am.

I think I don’t have a serious problem as far as my weight gain is concerned. But I don’t have to wait for my body to tell me otherwise so I should do something now.

Physical exercise including walking is very important for people who engaged in sedentary occupations like office workers, drivers and yes, work at home moms like us. I’m sure you’ll agree with me when I say walking is better than diet pills that work or more.

From large to small size

If you ask me if I have known one person who was successful in losing weight, that would be my sister. She can be considered one of the weight loss success stories as far as her standards of being slim is concerned. But I think she overdid her diet. She looks so thin after she loses so much weight. She used to wear a large size school uniform when she was a college freshman, but downsize to small after a few months of dieting. I barely saw her eat at home. Our mother was really frustrated about her method of losing weight. But my sister won’t admit it even to me. Later, I discovered that she took a slimming pill which made her poop after every meal. And there’s this diet pill that made her feel full so she doesn’t feel the urge to eat.
