Things aren’t running smoothly these days at hubby’s work. They are not paid on time. They are only given partial payment every payday. We have to make do with the amount that he brings home and whatever earnings I get from online opportunities. We have several pending bills past their due dates already. We still have unsettled bills at kids’ school. We can still manage to buy food and other necessities at home though. Instead of coins and bills to pay for new clothes and bags, my family is using gift certificates. Those GCs served as payment by the company for all the delayed allowances, unpaid leaves and salaries. However, we can’t depend on GCs forever as they can’t be used to pay for food on our table, water and electric bills. (rants of a housewife)
