MYM: Family Bonding

We’re having a post-Christmas dinner at Puregold Supermarket in Fairview.
My entry for MYM
More blessing for 2011
Hubby was thankful that we were able to accomplish many of our plans including repairs for our home last year. From our little savings, hubby got a chance to construct a new concrete fence (of course with the help of some workers) and tiled our bathroom in 2010.
We also bought a new washer to replace our 11 year old pre-owned washing machine. And to conserve a little energy, we bought this LCD television for our sala. Our next purchase list will include memory foam mattress and study table for the kids and a Sofa bed.. All our purchases were made possible by the payment for a translation project last year. Hubby and I hope that we will have another project coming for 2011.
Forgotten Gems
My daughter and I started our traditional house cleaning before the New Year. We started from the bedroom and finished, well, on the same bedroom. We haven’t accomplished much because I have to do something else. Before I picked up the trash from the floor, I notice my old jewelry box in a corner and found this silver earring much like discolored tanzanite jewelry. I wipe it a little and the opaque blue-green mineral showed. It was my favorite turquoise horse shoe earring. I used to pair it with a turquoise ring. These are part of the remaining pieces of silver jewelry I own that I can give to my daughter if she likes them.
