Enrolment woes

Opening of classes is the time of the year when parents normally get excited and apprehensive at the same time. They get excited because their kids will be entering a new phase in their lives as a student. They feel anxious if there are reports of tuition hike and increase in prices of school supplies. All these things happen beyond are control. So in instances that an additional financial support is needed, some parents resort to using their prepaid visa. In our case, if push comes to shove we’ll just have to use our credit card. (Like what I wrote in my previous posts we maintain the card for emergency purposes only.)

Facelift

For a long while, hubby and I have been planning to do a little renovation at home. We are supposed to start painting the chipped paints on our bedroom wall. The chipped paint makes the wall look dirty. After the prospect of repainting, we will be moving out old stuff to organize and maximize the space. Hubby is more skillful when it comes to arranging furniture so I will leave it up to him. I’m thinking of placing a study corner for my kids. This will entail buying pieces of office furniture like table, chairs and cabinet. The study table should not be too wide or narrow to hold my kids’ things. Finally, our dream to give our house a facelift will be realized. However, we have to delay it a little because we need to prioritize the kids’ tuition. Their school is already accepting enrollees this month.
