A must-have for your home

Your house can easily be identified by the mailman or the person who delivers your monthly billings if your house is properly labeled with address sign or address plaques, which contains your street and the number of your house. Address signs that are personalized or custom made can also add a touch of color and beauty to you modest house.

We have a uniform and simple looking address sign distributed by our own Barangay official. In the past, couriers have difficulty locating our place because we don’t have an address sign. Now, people can easily spot our house through our white address plaque.

GT: Gadget wish list

I admit I love to own a new or a pre-loved tablet PC and I’m aching to buy one. But purchasing a gadget as expensive as the one I saw online is more of a want than a need, so I have to forget about the fancy feeling for a new gadget. 😀 Besides, the kids’ enrollment is scheduled early next month so, the “desire” has to take a back seat for now. Don’t ask me about the specs as I have no idea, all I know is that it’s handy (you can even watch the recorded footage of the royal wedding while traveling) and it’s cheaper than the leading brand. 😀

Meantime, if you’re looking for tablet PCs that is less expensive than Apple and you’re planning to give it to your husband as anniversary or birthday gift for him, hubby has some items listed on his blog.

Spring cleaning

I did some spring cleaning at home and its quite liberating that I accomplished a lot of things in two days, completing 90 percent of my pre-Holy-Week to-do lists.

My big kids finally let go of their kiddie stuff – from magazines to stuff toys. Feeling a little sentimental disposing those huggable toys, I picked out some and keep them hidden until I have a cabinet to display them permanently.

Remember these toys? My kids finally bid goodbye to them. I decided to give the sack-full of toys to the grandchildren of the old lady who used to do our laundry for more than eight years.

I also gave out some of our old clothes, bags and shoes to Manang. The few remaining items are scheduled to be sent to their new owners in General Santos City, mostly my husband’s young nieces and nephews.

I finally get rid of stack of papers, pamphlets and magazine accumulated over the years when I was still working. I just kept some documents that I think might be helpful in my future blog posts.

De-cluttering is not yet over. I still have some cabinets to be cleared (or Laminate flooring installed this week.

I did the cleaning in two days while nursing a really bad stomach. I think I’m still suffering from stomach flu until now, but I’m happy to say that my home is less chaotic to see right now. 😀
