Plans for Valentine’s Day

Do we have any? 😀 I’m asking hubby a while ago (just before he goes to work) where will he take me  on Valentine’s Day. The usual reply is a nod and a sheepish smile. Do you think may gana ka pang magtanong, hindi na di ba? 😀 We used to go out with our kids, with or without any occasion. When they were little, we would bring them to SM Fairview’s Storyland for a nice carousel ride and then have a light snack at Shakey’s before we head home.  We usually buy some stuff for the house or personal gadget.  Those were the little pleasures we enjoyed then (thanks to the bonuses and allowances we used to receive from our company -  heard that company union had file for a strike notice. 🙁 ).

This year, I’m not sure where our feet will take us. Maybe we are going out or simply enjoy a good movie with some delicious snack on the side. Whatever we have on the occasion itself, we’ll just enjoy it.

This Valentine’s Day is our 13th, I just want my husband to know that I love him and life would be different without him. Happy Valentine’s Day, hon. mwah

My one true love

How do I describe my one true love? Simple.

He’s the man any woman wants to spend the rest of their life with (no exaggeration intended here). I’m just blessed, very blessed indeed to have found someone like my husband when I thought true love will never came to me.

My one true love

My one true love

(I’m listening to Lea Salonga’s Two words: I Do and can’t help but become emotional while writing this. Sniff sniff)

He’s understanding and never jealous (my exact opposite). He is kind and never overbearing. He tries to show how much he loves me in his own unique way. He isn’t someone easily persuaded, but takes time to listen and evaluate things if they are necessary. You just can’t tell him ‘to say this or do that’ when he don’t want to. His affection shows from within, meaning he’s a natural.

He takes care of me when I’m sick and assures that everything will be alright. He exudes an aura of positivity. (He has yet to hear from me about my swollen feet and my plan to see a doctor today).

He is trustworthy. He never gives me reason to be jealous except that I can’t help to be jealous sometimes. Who wouldn’t be when flirtatious girls are out there to make ‘pa-cute’ to married guys? Grrr.

He is forgiving despite my pettiness at times…And most importantly; he remains committed to me and our family from day one. If that is not enough to describe him I don’t know what is.

By the way, my man knows how to make his wife happy, literally and figuratively. 😀 He helps around the house by doing the laundry, ironing, washing the dishes and sometimes cleans the house. Now you know why I’m blessed to have him for a husband or else I wouldn’t be able to write this piece you are reading now.

Oh yes, he still works at night. He moonlights as strip dancer for my pleasure. Can you beat that? 😀

This is my entry for Girl’s Talk this week.

Two weddings

Remember my first cousin Cez who got married last year? I’ve mentioned about her wedding and her wedding photos in one of my posts in my other blog. Just recently I saw their wedding video. To tell you honestly, I’m not satisfied with the way the videographer covered the whole wedding event, including shots at the bride’s house to the reception site. The video was a bit hazy and they could have edited portions that are not necessary in the film. Anyway, the wedding went well and they still have mementos to remind them of how special the occasion was to the couple and their families.

I was not involved in the wedding preparation, but if I had the chance to share my idea about the wedding, I could have suggested professional videographer Buddy Gancenia to cover my cousin’s wedding. Buddy Gancenia is one of the best corporate, events, wedding videographer in the Philippines so you have nothing to worry about missing an important shot during the wedding.

If my cousin will see any of Buddy Gancenia’s works, she will definitely regret not meeting him earlier. The next wedding will be mine. Yes, my husband and I are planning to have a chuch wedding in the future. It will be a simple wedding, but I want to make sure our special day will be immortalized by Buddy Gancenias’ genius in wedding video coverage.

I find this interesting corporate video of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD)  in his site.

And here’s the screenshot of Buddy Gancenia’s Reality TV blog.
