3 Tips for Blending Into Your Environment

When you are out and about, things can go downhill quickly. People may start attacking others with very little warning. That is why it is important to avoid becoming an easy target. 1. Dress With Purpose

The part of you that many folks will notice first is what you are wearing. If you don’t want to draw attention to yourself, you should put on clothes that fit the style of those around you. Definitely take the season into consideration. If you are sporting a giant coat in the middle of summer, you are definitely going to be spotted.

As far as weapons are concerned, you may think about concealed carrying so that you won’t immediately stand out. If you decide to do this, you can keep your gun readily available by wearing a concealed thigh holster. This can give you a heads up in terms of strategy.

2. Act the Part

Preparation does not end by adjusting your wardrobe. You also need to mold your behavior to fit your mission. Avoid chatting with strangers other than by using small talk or pleasantries. Do not engage in conversations that revolve around politics or religion because you cannot predict how others will respond. Think twice before making eye contact in large cities where people may take this act as a sign of aggression.

3. Observe Your Surroundings

Now that you have adapted your behavior, it is time to pay attention to what is happening around you. Pinpoint anyone who is looking nervously over their shoulders, for example. Check to see if any escape routes are blocked so that you can look for new ones in the case that someone starts chasing you. Keep track of the weather as well.

No one wants to find themselves in a situation where people want to harm others. However, you still need to anticipate many possibilities.
