Every once in a while we hire someone to do an inspection around the house to make sure everything is in order. He checks out if every single thing is in place and there are no faulty electric wires, or no angle iron hanging loose somewhere. I also make sure that the locks and knobs of our doors are looked into. And then have plumbing and the pipes checked, as well. With children around the house you cannot really be too careful. You have to make sure that your home is not only the most comfortable but also the safest place for your children to be in.
