Eco park revisited

We treat the kids for a late afternoon visit at the La Mesa Eco Park in Quezon City last week. We weren’t able to enjoy the facilities like the Superferry Boating Lagoon and Pavilion as it was already closed when we arrived in the area so we content ourselves with leisurely walk at the Lopez Picnic Grounds and hiking at the Shell Flower Terraces.

We really had a grand time although we were just at the area for less than two hours.

I love the outdoors although it’s rare that we do this kind of activity in recent years. The last time that we were there was in 2006. We hope to go back and explore the whole place even if it means conditioning my knees and feet for strenuous walking. 😀

Outdoors like nature tripping is a good time for bonding with our families and friends. It is also good for our health and self-esteem.

Love that place! Been there three times already, but didn’t see those picnic huts yet. They must be new.

I’m not sure kung bago lang ang mga huts kasi 2006 kami huli pumunta sa park. Presko talaga dun ano. sarap bumalik. 🙂
