Waiting for my EON card

Just a few more days and I will finally get my EON card from Union Bank (Quzon City Branch). I applied for EON card last week after securing a POSTAL ID from our barangay secretary. EON card works like a normal Automated Teller Machine or ATM card. Once you transfer your Paypal fund to your Union Bank Account, the amount can be withdrawn in ATM machines without hassle except of course when the machine is offline.

If you don’t have an EON card yet and planning to get one soon, you will need to bring two valid identification cards. Since I don’t have an SSS ID and securing one will take a couple of weeks, I opt to get a postal ID instead. I also brought my old company ID, and another company ID that bears my TIN and SSS number. I photocopied all the IDs that I have and submit them to the Union Bank personnel who assisted my application last Friday.

So this Friday or next, I’m going to pick up my EON card. I’ll just have to pay an annual fee of P350 when I received the card. After that I’ll wait for 24 hours for the card activation and then I can transfer the money from paypal.  The moolah that I’m expecting to cash out will help settle a portion of these  expenses that I wrote in my other blog.
