One weekend at Storyland, SM Fairview

A lady friend gave this piece of Chinese wish paper to me a few years ago.  She said I could write a prayer or anything that I wish to have or plan that I want to be realized in the future. Her instruction is to burn the paper after I write all my wishes and scatter its ashes in the air to make my “wishes” come true.

I haven’t written anything on it yet. I want to keep it as a remembrance for now.

I’m not familiar with this flower (again) or its plant but it used to beautify the front of our house.

We still have the plants – there are at least two varieties, but they never reward us with the same beautiful flowers like before.

I completely forgot to take a picture of the fried Relyenong Bangus that I prepare the other day. Now I have the excess filling here and decided to use it as filling for Lumpiang Shanghai.

By the way I use Bangus meat, ground pork, red bell pepper, carrots, green peas, raisins as filling for Relyenong Bangus.

I’m not quite sure what type or variety of orchid plant this one belongs  (or if this is really an orchid). But I’m glad the plant manages to stay alive despite being unattended to. It depends on rainwater to survive and bear lovely flowers.

The kids and I recently watched our DVD copy of Mamma Mia. I fell in love with the characters especially Sophie (played by Amanda Seyfried) and her equally feisty mom Donna (Meryl Streep).

Her latest drawing is the sketch of little Paris Jackson. Partly hidden in the upper left corner of her sketch pad was her reference photo, a black and white picture of Paris.

This is one of the most sad, touching but wonderful war-time movies ever. It offers love, war, daily life and love and anger withing a family.

This is considered one of the 50 plus most romantic movies in the US.
