MYM – Yellow flower

I’m so proud and happy that a lot of friends take notice of my daughter’s color painting. Aside from landscape she also draws human faces too. I will share her recent drawing in my next post.

Some of my friends are wondering if my daughter had attended art classes before. I told them she has yet to attend one. My daughter learns to draw and paint on her own. She reads art books and research for reference photos as often as she can.

Another friend is encouraging her to join contest to hone her talent and give her more confidence in herself and her abilities.

Thanks to all of you who appreciate my daughter’s talent.  🙂

Stay-at-home dad

Not in my husband’s immediate plan. But if ever I have an offer to work abroad, I’m confident to leave my kids to their father’s care because I know he can perform the role of both mom and dad to them. I will have no worries handing over the management of our home to him. I’m proud to say that he can wash, iron and fold clothes, he can clean the house, and he can prepare, but not cook food (oops). He can be their tutor too (remember he’s good in math).

He’s also our all around handyperson. Imagine even during his day offs; he still manage to help around the house instead of resting. That’s the kind of person he truly is. Ever wonder how he can perform all that. Well, it could be the men’s vitamin that he is taking that gives him the stamina. He could pass for a SAHD alright, but there’s one slightly negative trait that he needs to improve on. He should learn to be stricter to our kids because he has the tendency to spoil our kids. Hmmm…

Pimple free skin

My 13-year-old daughter is beginning to worry about her face. She has pimples on the forehead, cheek and even scalp. I advise her to use anti-bacterial facial scrub to wash her face. It’s the same facial solution that I use to minimize my acne problem. She has delicate skin and I don’t want her to apply anything (except for the facial scrub) on her young skin that may damage it. When she’s older and earning her own money maybe she can afford to undergo acne light. For now, I can recommend her to follow these useful tips to achieve a pimple free skin.

Wash you face especially in the morning and before bed; drink plenty of water; eat healthy foods; have enough sleep and rest; and do not prick you pimples (daughter I hope you’re reading this).

Wiktionary.org describes acne as a skin condition, usually of the face, that is common in adolescents. It is characterised by red pimples, and is caused by the inflammation of sebaceous glands through bacterial infection.
