Old toys

Remember these toys?

These are the same toys that I placed inside a sack and plastic bags last October. I made a post about it here on [insert name of platform or website]. My kids planned to sell them to the children in our neighborhood to raise money for Christmas. Unfortunately, the mini garage sale did not push through for unknown reasons.

Some of these toys were bought cheaply, but they hold sentimental value to both my children and me. I still have second thoughts about letting them go.

This year, I plan to donate these toys to an orphanage, as my friends have suggested. I hope to bring some happiness to the children in the institution, even for just a little while. 🙂

that’s also my problem – letting go of materials that are useless but have sentimental values. and yes, even yong mga toys.

anyway, we have choices naman for that. di ba every december Jollibee (sic) accepts donations like old toys and books. i can guarantee na yong mga donation na yun ay nakakaabot naman sa mga bata. my brother has this advocacy na every december mayroon siyang gft giving program for the kids sa depressed areas sa QC. and isa sa naipapamaigay niya ay mula sa maAGAng Pamasko program nila.
