DIY Home Repair: Concrete floor painting

Hubby did a little floor painting yesterday. Our bedroom floor has some cracks and whitish mark all over and it doesn’t look good. Hubby brought a red elastomeric paint and covered the whole floor. But before he applied the paint, he mopped the floor and let it dry. The paint provides waterproof coating and hope it would lasts for three years or more. I’m planning to apply wax to make the newly painted floor sparkly clean. The whole painting job saves us less than $100 for floor renovation expenses. A floor repair is costly but thanks to my ever resourceful partner for coming up with the idea of simply applying a waterproof paint.

Hubby’s next DIY project: ceiling repair
